I have the feeling that it will be delayed to 4 p.m. And then 5 p.m.

absolutely not interrupting a glorious Sunday for this, so here's a recap 3 1/2 hours early:
trades are hard
trading for good C's is hard
i like our team
we'll keep working to make it better
you can't overspend for free agents
we have carey price
we'll try drouin at center
i still have a few months to tweak lineup

This only means that MTL has made final offer to Rads and that he is on a deadline.

He'll probably announce the Radulov, Price, and Galchenyuk signings at the start of it. Otherwise it makes no sense to hold a press conference for what he did yesterday.

I genuinely wonder what he'll be wearing today.

He's already done his cosplay of the Joker, so my guess is:

I'd imagine that if Radulov was already committed we'd hear from Dallas sources that they were out of the running.

The Habs have a lot of cap space right now.

Should Markov and/or Radulov not re-up he has tons of space to take advantage of a team that doesn't have cap luxuries. Such as the Capitals or Oilers. Bergevin has put himself in a situation where he can take advantage of their situations, problem is he can't force the trade to happen today to appease all you impatient fans. There is a GM on the other side who is managing his cap and trying to figure out whom could be made available.

Could you imagine if Caps decide to put Backstrom on the block to free up cap space for Kuznetsov? Or vice versa? They have great centers but lots of money tied up to OV already. Can't have it all unless the players take massive pay cuts to stay on Caps.

Oil are about to give McDavid 13M and upwards of 9M to Drai. 6M for RNH doesn't work for them anymore.

There are options out there. O'Reilly, Eichel and Reinhart in buffalo is a log jam too.
