Is today's theme gifs of Matthews farting?

Liljegren played the least of all dmen (8:46 5v5) and had the worst xGF% on the team at just 6.6%. Really not sure what's up with him but he's quickly playing his way off the team
You could clearly see the puck thru the mesh in his glove clearly in the net……..it was a goalDid the replay show white ice between the puck and the redline?
The replay I saw showed part of the glove in the net. I didn't think that was a goal unless the whole glove was in the net
Yeah that's probably a good bet. I still think ultimately as a professional athlete he's responsible for his own play, but maybe that's too harsh. It's hard enough finding your way in the NHL without worrying about being sabotaged by your own coachConfidence issue after all the deadline acquisitions.. and the coach seemingly ignoring his quality play earlier in the season.
Feels like they're mismanaging his development. He had earned that top 4 spot. But f***ing with his confidence, scratching him, giving him less TOI is getting in his head and they took him out of rhythm.

I mean I get it, but what a useless stat. What are we when any player scores two goals? In a league where a team averages 3 plus a game, I’d say one player potting two is a recipe for success. What’s our record when we don’t score two goals lol? Anyways…
I have not been a fan of Murray whatsoever this season, but he looked very strong tonight. Made some big saves.Murray getting his groove back would be very beneficial for the playoffs.. both goalies feeling confident would go a long way.
Its the same issues that existed last year and the same thing that took him out of the playoffs lineup. Its like the yips.Confidence issue after all the deadline acquisitions.. and the coach seemingly ignoring his quality play earlier in the season.

You can actually lose a game when your goalie gets a shutout.Agree. Maybe they will a stat that says whenever Leafs goalies get a shutout, Leafs records is undefeated.
Definitely not. They played their best defensive hockey when he was injured earlier in the season and again tonight. Does Keefe have the guts to healthy scratch him in the playoffs ?Leafs look solid defensively when Rielly takes the night off?? Coincidence? Hmmmmm.....![]()

A stretch where our goaltending played their best all season and when Marner was on an absolute tear and the top 6 was giving us offence? We need to stop this narrative that we suck with Rielly in the lineup when we look like this with him in the lineup as well. Brodie was also out for a bit of that stretch too, should we sit him as well? It's amazing how good we can look when our top paid players do what we pay them for and when weird bounces/bad goals don't get let in by goalies.Definitely not. That would be a good goal even if that Penalty was wrong. But it would suck.I have a hypothetical rules question about the Bunting "penalty" call that was reversed.
If on the delay, Bobrovsky heads the bench and FLA deploys the extra attacker and scores, would they call back the goal (or even review the call)?
Sorry but Rielly is not close to a top pairing defenseman. He makes poor decisions, gets caught out of position, doesn’t defend the net front and the puck stays on his stick too long on the PP. He’s a great skater with a good wrist shot. He should be a winger not a dman playing top minutes for a cup contender. What difference does a narrative make anyway?
