The weird bounce off the glass I’m not so mad about, but the fact that he left Stepan wide open down low chasing a guy with 2 guys already on him was the infuriating part.

I don't think we're beating Carolina this season lol. They just have our number... Pretty sure if we faced them in playoffs we'd get knocked out in 5. Their team is the perfect foil to our playing style. Fast and stingy, they just needed good goaltending which they're getting from Andersen now

Carolina came really prepared. They've been cutting out legs out in the neutral zone all game. You gotta hand it to them as I don't think we've played bad, they've just been excellent at stopping our offense before it starts.
Tbh this is the best way to stop our offense and they're doing it better than any team has done this year.

The lack of a dump in and then the lack of urgency around finding the puck....like it's 11 PM beer league game... you best find the puck Justin lest it end up in your net. Which it did when you were beat to the rebound.. Lack of urgency... not good enough

Let's worry about beating the Panthers or Lightning, both arguably better teams, before we worry about this. For all we know they get ousted in the first round. Shit happens thats the playoffs.

Carolina is honestly just really good. Overall the Leafs have done great to keep it tight, but they aren't quite there yet. The Canes commitment to playing the right way is better.
