They tried way too hard to get the puck to Matthews, and Devils did not decide to chase Sandin like teams do with Rielly.

Sandin has to do something with it, especially with his shot and that amount of time and space.

Hollowell hasn't looked bad. Wouldn't say he was the worst D on the ice. Wouldn't even say he was the.worst RHD out there. Hell he wasn't even the worst RHD with the last name starting with H-o-l-l....... I know. I know. Leave him alone, we need him right now.

Maybe it’s my imagination but I think that Matthews looks better.
He took 2 wrist shots from distance last game and ripped one tonight.
And they had something on them unlike the rest of the season.

Quick thoughts:
- I'm glad the refs/decision room finally make the correct call in favour of the Leafs, as we all know if the refs didn't call that correctly on the ice, the decision room would f*** them
-- After years of f***ing them, do you recall when a Chicago player sat on the Leafs goalie while they scored? or when the Leafs had the butt of their stick barely touch a goalie seconds before the puck was anywhere near?
- Engvall needs to stop gaining room on a rush, refusing to use his body, then circle backward killing the play. He does it every f***ing time, at this point, stay in the neutral zone and do nothing.
- The Devils look very bad, not applying any pressure on a defence that is missing the top 3
- The power play needs to start cycling the puck, they literally spent a minute trying to set up a single set play, which was countered by a single player pretty much just never having to move their stick

Marner can play with anyone, but he has always looked great with Tavares IMO. Looks way more comfortable and loose
