In fairness Liljegren has been hot garbage the last few games. Not justifying Keefe’s obsession with making shit hard on young players. But Liljegren hasn’t exactly been great defensively the last few games.

Ups and downs happen. Bad against buffalo, but I thought he was solid vs Edmonton. Everyone was bad vs NJ for the most part

Don’t disagree with you there. Keefe has done this to Sandin, Dermott, Timmins, and Liljegren throughout his time here. There hasn’t been a lot of rope for our young defenseman. Then we block their paths with acquired vets every year.

Yep terrible coaching. It's ultimately on Liljegren to rise above it and I think he will, but he's definitely looking rough at the moment
