I called this exact thing. The Leafs are suddenly playing down to the level of the opponent again with seemingly no defensive structure. Exactly as I mentioned it would play out with him back.

4 goals on 16 shots, that's really good, if they can get more shots there's a real good chance they can get more goals. Maybe JT can get some shots and Kerfoot maybe Holl and hopefully Will too.

True but Binni is 750. Its the 17 Leafs SOG that are the issue. That isn't enough to win a game most nights. JT has 1 and Marner has none. Not their night in any area.

He hasn't been able to make any tough saves at all. This is on Samsonov right now. It is a 4-3 game for the Leafs if he is even just mediocre.

Defense hasn't been great, but if Samsonov is even just able to make the stops he should be able to make, then the Leafs are winning this game. And other than goal 5, we are not asking him much to make a stop on any of the other 4. He should be routinely saving those 95% of the time, and he is not doing that right now.

What about the goal that pinballed off of three players? Also the goal where we made a great save in the slot and then Kerfoot was hooked and Kyrou put it in? He hasn’t had a chance on pretty much three goals tonight.
That said he hasn’t been good. Defence seems weaker though.

When he was playing for the Nuckleheads and of course he was injured what else was new lol
I met him at a Apple Store in the mall
