Well, we weren't going to go undefeated the rest of the way. We've been playing great for this run. If it's a loss, I just can't get the worked up about it. Hope they come back, but if not we will start a new one against Buffalo
If they play hard and lose, that was gonna happen at some point. If they play the rest of the game like what i saw of the first and lose, that sucks and i’ll be disappointed lol.

I took off my Devils hoody because it's like 70 freaking degrees today for some reason. We were unbeaten since I got the hoody. I'll put it back on

That no goal call was bullshit. The entire dynamic of the game changed there. If we don't come back the league may have taken this away from us. That bothers me.
Agree that the call was BS but lots of hockey left. If they can’t overcome a bad call in the 1st period to the point that it costs them the game, then they aren’t the team I think they are.

We can still be pissed but they need to get over it and come back.

The conspiratorial nonsense isn't a good look guys. The league isn't trying to screw over one of the best stories to the start of the season.

It's a bad call from refs who are out of their depth. It happens. No sense in whining about it.

Skate hard, create chances, and get back in it.
That's the rational way to see it lol.

Came back from 2 down a few times this year, no reason not to do it again. LGD!

Yes. He barely touched his skate and didn’t interfere with his he goalies stance and when Murray went to move the leg to make a save Bastian was nowhere near it.
So it wasn’t a stick issue?

I figured it had to be because I thought it looked clean around the skates. .

I thought that was a goal for sure, then I remembered we were playing vs. Toronto in the Hockey Night In Canada marquee match-up and realized there was no way the goal would count.

I'm just kidding, kind of. Anyway, I have to go to work now but I'm keeping the faith and predicting a Devils comeback win. This team seems to thrive on adversity, and I just think this Devils team wears opponents down with their up-tempo, high-speed game.

It's definitely not a conspiracy, the league is just incompetent. This isn't new, they have been incompetent for years and it has only gotten worse over time. The game is too fast and the officials too poor to handle the games.
