We've upgraded from a 17 year NHL vet with 36 career power points (12g 24a) in nearly 1000 games to coach who hasn't been part of a power play since he was in 3rd Division NCAA. What could possibly go wrong?
Can this coach teach a D man to develop a bomb from the point?
You don't think Carberry has been involved with a powerplay on any of the teams he's been involved with during his rise through the coaching ranks?
Usually when a new sucka pp coach comes in, he only does thangs that are not that suprising. Its not like these new sucka coaches take the star players off the powerplay. So that is our WINNING! Now tavares will ALWAYS take the faceoff and then be on the first unit! The AHL has team pp stats and his results for the last 3 season have been kind of poor although his clubs were successful. It doesn't look like he had a ton of offensive guns to work with so maybe not a big deal. At least it will be a different look.
A bomb from the point was missing and that is why TOR 0-125 on the PP? I always thought TOR's issue on the PP was it was so damn predictable: give Matthews his cookies.
Delete. Is this what is meant when people say addition by subtraction?
I think they are trying to appease fans and give fans some faint hope that things will be better next yearSurprised how public this demotion is. As much about the PP as it is about the PR.
