Haha come on brother, you know thats a hilariously different situation.
Tell me more.
Shows what kind of perspective you’re coming from though, bring so polarized and all.
Nah. I just LOVE pulling the chain of the fools who kept insisting EP was healthy last year. :D
Cheers mate
Buuut... Players can have physical conditions that dont make you angry at how they perform?

No, Hronek was 24 when he was traded. Pettersson is 28. That’s a big difference, and a pending free agent.

The value of which is probably not such a high pick, but again having to dump a bunch of money in errors in scouting made it higher.

It’s a whatever trade if we’re able to re-sign him. But it speaks to the impatience of management.
Yes, impatience is my issue too. Unfortunately, when you commit to the compete now! plan you don’t have the luxury of patience. So, once you go compete now! you ideally have lots of prospect depth and capital.

Because on the compete now! plan, since you can’t show true patience, you need to either (1) fill spots internally, or (2) overpay for external options and/or cheap out on bargain bin hopers.

And the Canucks are mostly doing option 2, and they have been since management was hired. Unfortunately, the Canucks have always been up against the odds, but even more so after the Miller trade.

We do be agreeing here.

We had some Benning friendly mods that tolerated POM baiting people for years and banned anyone who called him out on his shilling.

PoM's game was to bait folks, you're right, but the people who took the bait were the ones who got infractions or whatever.

Folks who just refuted his nonsense, either by looking into his post history or sourcing their claims were/are roundly ignored by him because he couldn't play his stupid game.

Has this management group actually made us worse? When they took over we had Miller Pettersson and Horvat down the middle and Hughes. Now we just have Pettersson and Hughes.
You can certainly argue this. Kind of unfair to list Horvat but not Hronek though.

Hronek hasnt looked good away from Hughes an

Pettersson has yet to play a game for us.
Hronek away from Hughes is such a small sample size though

I like Pettersson but don’t consider him a core player, he’s like 1 tier below that so I agree that listing him doesn’t make sense until he proves otherwise.
