Maccelli could be upgraded to a legit top 6 winger.
They could also target a 2C, but I personally think they'll just draft Desnoyers or Martin at 4th overall and wait. Cooley Hayton McBain Stenlund is perfectly fine center depth if you have a blue chip center prospect coming.
Alternatively, they draft Martone, who replaces Schmaltz later on, and they trade for a 2C this summer.
RD is fine. Goalies are fine. Sergachev Maatta Cole at LD is fine with Simashev coming soon, or Sergachev Simashev Maatta if Simashev looks ready in camp.

But seriously, if they want to make a big move I think they’re terrifically positioned to make a run at Robertson. I’m just not sure if Dallas would want to trade him within the division, but if they would, I think something around Kesselring and #4 for Robertson makes a lot of sense.

Not criticising you @Gaylord Q Tinkledink, but how can you have worded that wrong, it says nothing lol. I get they likely have multiple offers out there, and I wouldn't hold Elliot's feet to the fire if they did nothing, but this isn't news. Something like 'they have multiple offers of futures for top six forwards. #4 is in play, but it would need to be a sub-27 year old 2C, I'm told they won't move Simashev or Butt however'.
I will say he's pretty good about providing context later- he may come out and say 'I heard they were aggressively in on Robertson', but for a guy who has a lot of good to say, this is less than we knew already.
And Elliot drops the bread crumbs for fans to link Marner to Utah for clicks.

Not sure why they would even entertain offers for McBain. Big boy is hitting machine with a shot, versatility and two-way IQ. He’s literally everything a contending team needs in the playoffs and a team graduating from “cute rebuild” to “serious team” needs to keep.
I suspect he will be locked down to a contract that may surprise people if they are just looking at points. If some team wanted to trade for him, the cost would be very high...and like teams like Buffalo and a few others, more picks and prospects are pretty useless to Utah. So, unless he is part of a package for a big star, I don't see it...other teams can be interested all they want.

I can’t see any reason why Utah would be looking to add a defenseman. They just don’t need another one at all.
Especially not at RHD with Durzi and Marino locked into deals and Kesselring showing he’s a capable 2nd pairing guy plus Lamoureux basically ready as well.
Calgary would absolutely have to take Durzi back as part of the deal for it to make any sense. They aren’t going to pay Durzi, Marino and Andersson all as RHD.
