Malkin's Home Target of a Break-In and his 3 Stanley Cup Rings are Missing

Probably done by the Leafs big 3 as they know it was their only legitimate shot at a ring.

Three rings. Three players.

This post was brought to you by the great minds who think the Sabres have very good players, and (for purely institutional reasons) the oppressive billionaire is why they're last in the standings.

You think that doesn't happen? Look at the Commanders.

Hearing that these two gentlemen are currently wanted for questioning.

Apparently it was in a safe, that was open while the alarm and cameras happened to be down at the same time. That's some pretty lucky timing for the thieves for all those things to happen at once. I can see them jamming the alarm and cameras but the safe being open as well either is really shit luck or an inside job or some sort of insurance fraud...

"The alarm system and cameras at the home happened to be down at the time of the break-in and his safe had been kept open, sources say. "
VERY odd.🤔

Willing to bet the thieves co-conspired or threatened a houseworker at Malkin's.
Agreed, too strange to be a coincidence.

But at the same time, using a worker is an obvious trace, they’re the first to be interrogated and looked at inside out. And this gang seems to be too smart if they’re still free…

As for Geno, hope he realizes that in the end the ring is just a piece of metal, even if it’s a very valuable one. His name is engraved in the Stanley Cup 3 times, that’ll stay there no matter what (I hope no one steals it). Even if he gets replicas, that’s not the worst thing to happen in life.

After all, thieves didn’t kill or injure him or his family, be grateful for that. And Geno still has lots of money, health and family safe, so that’s not the end of the world. He’ll be fine.

What ever happened to the days of restorative justice? I see some people calling for capital punishment, but that's too lenient. It doesn't account for the possibility of reincarnation.

No, the judge needs to make these criminals really pay. By having to post on Hockey's Future for the next ten seasons defending Mike Sullivan

The cameras being down and safe left open are just silly when you are a highly paid professional athlete with valuable like that in your home.

I do believe the ring makers would have the designs and could reproduce replicas. Not THEE ring but it's not like they can't be replaced as trophy shelf items.

Thats because no-one in Russia owns anything valuable.
this is not far from the truth, if we are equally poor the crime rate stays low just as if we would be rich. but once you hand out shinny gold rings to just a few people, all hell breaks loose
