Apparently it was in a safe, that was open while the alarm and cameras happened to be down at the same time. That's some pretty lucky timing for the thieves for all those things to happen at once. Holy f*** that is a horrendous theft. Hopefully they r caught soon. Those aren't valuable to most theives as most people won't buy them due to them being stolen.

I would imagine they'd likely "chop" them... remove the diamonds and sell them and melt down the metal.
