Subban's off to a rough start and this is his last year of waiver exemption. If Bruins management have privately soured on him, the time to cash in on his trade value is now. If that were the case, what level of interest would the Wild and Flames have? Who would be available?

I've seen a lot of chat about Kuemper being moved at some point, likely for futures. There would then be a hole at the backup position, if you believe Stalock and Michalek are better suited as #3 and #4 on a playoff team than as #2 and #3. Subban could be an interesting option.

Flames have been bleeding goals. You could argue that it's been the defense and not the goaltending, and I wouldn't disagree. That doesn't mean they would have zero interest for the right price. Gillies is good but needs to develop a while longer before seeing NHL action.

Flames wouldn't have a whole lot of interest. Especially with the expansion draft coming up.

Maybe something around Mason McDonald at most.

er...both Rask and Khudobin are nursing injuries. Subban is more likely to be starting this week than being traded

Rather have Kuemper/ Stalock than Subban. The fact that you are even talking about trading him when the two goalies above him are injured tells me all I need to know about how B's fans value him, though a quick drop by your board will reinforce that impression.

With Elliott and Johnson in the NHL, we are good there.

Gillies, Parsons, and McDonald make 3 solid prospects.

Add to that we have Rittich and McCollum as well.

Long story short, probably not much interest from us.

We have no need on the Flames. Just signed our two goalies, wil lsee long term. Also have 3 excellent goalie prospects.

I'm not a huge Malcolm Subban guy; but he could be a good one. That being said, I'm okay with the Elliott/Ocho combo in the NHL, and the Gillies show in the AHL.

I don't want Subban taking starts away from Gillies, because I think Jon's got some stupid upside; and there's no room in the NHL.

I'm the OP and I'm not a Bruins fan. I follow all the teams to different extents.

I know Rask and Khudobin are both injured. At this point I haven't read about either possibly being out for too long. Just because a player is needed as an injury callup right this moment doesn't mean you can't discuss a trade in the near future on the trade board.

Not really much interest from the Wild. Subban isn't a NHL goalie right now. That being said, he'll have a 35 save shutout tonight against them.

Wild don't want to play Dub 60 games this season so they need a reliable backup to play ~30 games. Neither Stalock or Kuemper really fits that bill, Subban seems a step below them in readiness right now.

Subban seems more of an add to a package deal than anything else. Wild traded a 3rd to get Dub and he was at least a NHL backup quality player at the time.

Not interested. The duo is set this season, and next season likely will likely be one of those two with Gillies.
