Could care less what they think.

Let the boys make em eat their words.

Same people who said we had no chance against Pittsburgh. Then Montreal.

Mostly Icelander and Devil fans who are living their worst nightmare, and disgruntled Canadien fans.

Who cares what the butthurt think.

Let them I don't care what they say or think, what matters is what happens on the ice. There's no way the Final doesn't go at least 6. And I'd rather be the underdog anyways, it worked out with the Giants.

Prefer to be the underdog then the heavy favorite. Let the Rangers keep defying the odds. Nothing to lose.

At this point, I don't see how you can't be proud of this team no matter what. We'll be the last team to play a game this year. Beyond all of our wildest dreams. No one really had us coming out of the East. Just an amazing feeling.

I hope we win, but if we don't, I'm as proud as I've ever been.

The board also was sure the Bruins would win the east. The board was also sure the AVs were going to start being a powerhouse this post season.

The board is always sure that whatever team has the most HF hype is going to win.

We'll be the underdog in either series.

However, LOL at people who thought Pitt and MTL were better than us. I don't know the likelihood of us winning (I rely on -31- to post his stuff because **** maths) but it's significantly closer than anyone on this forum thinks.

Meh the entire country in 2007, was in a rush to refinance their house and pull out their equity because they all knew real estate never declines.

How did that work out for them?

The Rangers will be underdogs, sure. That is a realistic expectation. We'll see how things unfold.

One only needs to look at the topic sentences for threads to ascertain that the fans on HF Boards aren't always correct, and that is putting it as lightly as I can to avoid a flame war.

I assume that if the hockey gods recalled all that was said across the hockey webs since the new era began in 2006, they might let out a slight chuckle.

LGR!

So much this. Who cares what everyone else says. We have come this far and it has been a hell of a journey. I am so proud of this team and everything they have done. But now that we've come this far, lets go out and get it done.

One more hill to climb baby.

Of course we will lose.

We have no chance against the almighty West. Even the Oilers would kick our sorry Eastern *****.

anything can happen, that's why the games are played. As True Blue states, and others have stated, the Rangers will be underdogs, for sure. Underdogs have pulled out a series here and there. Perhaps it'll take their best games played of the season to win; perhaps Lundqvist will have to stand on his head; perhaps Richards, St. Louis and Nash each will have to average more than a point per game. Perhaps, but whatever it takes. We shall see. No predictions except that the Rangers will be playing in the Stanley Cup Finals and 28 other teams will not!

We are the underdogs, but our millionaires are going to have to suck it up when they play those snobby rich players from LA or Chicago.

I have to admit I am very scared of LA. We'll have to play McDonagh 40 minutes a night to stop that firepower and use our speed to kill them like Montreal. Rough up Gaborik. I don't know how to stop Kopitar.

who cares. what I've observed is that we play better defense than any of the Western Conference teams. They're out there having a field day in goals because no one freakin' knows how to cover a man out there. It's gonna be a battle but we definitely have a legit chance. Hank will surely steal 2 games for us like he always does. Then we just need the boys to come through and win two games on their own.

I keep reading easy win for West. Kings or Hawks in 4 or 5.

I'm biased of course but I ain't buying it. Speed and The King.

I mean I agree with HfBoards general thought process. But 4 or 5 games? Get out of here. They'll win the series in 2 games or less.

Nope. They should play McDonagh the amount of minutes he's been playing all playoffs long. Should be an even series.

Glenn Healy said it best last night after the game.

In 94' the Rangers rolled over everyone in the league all season and when they reached the finals against a .500 team in the Nucks everyone thought it would be a sweep. They won by a single goal in Game 7.

Teams are in the final for a reason. They've passed several tests along the way and for this Rangers team they came back from a 3-1 deficit against one of the top teams in the league.

Sure, they got some breaks with Price being injured, not having to play the Bruins, but they won two Game 7's to get here and they had to win 2 games in Montreal where they had a terrible history. They also had their own fair share of injuries, bad calls and a tragedy to one of their leaders. Its how you respond to all that that counts, not so much whats on paper.

I dont think itll be easy for the Kings or Hawks either. The Rangers are the underdog, for sure - but we'll see what happens. I think it will be a good series that will go 6 or 7
