Major negative Wrestling story to break soon?

If you haven't seen it yet, Joe Lanza of Voices of Wrestling sent out a tweet on his personal account about a major story getting ready to break. He wants no part of it in part because it will likely ruin the reputation of a full time WWE employee.

It is said that Meltzer also has this story, but there is a lot of trepidation in breaking the story, possibly in fear of being sued after the Gawker trial.

Sounds like it could be a fairly big deal.

Of course they're fearing a lawsuit. Why you ask?

I was worried about Daniel Bryan, though not for any moral issues, just things with his health.

Meltzer did tweet something cryptic today about ESPN "looking the other way" in their reporting with the WWE deal.

 Does this really need to be a thread? THERE MIGHT BE NEWS! When it breaks.. it breaks. That's it.

Nothing is more lame than tweeting out something like that and saying it will only generate "CLICKS". Stupid. Just stupid stuff.

The ESPN thing would be him complaining about them not really reporting on the WWE. They're just doing kiss-ass PR stuff, not real news reporting. He goes into a mini-rant about it every now and then on his shows.

I get that, but the bottom line is if there were a major REAL story to be broken that was bad for the WWE, would they do it? Of course not.

Reading the speculations on reddit are giving me a good laugh...this one is a gem:

I normally don't get myself wrapped up in things like this, but reading all the crazy ideas you guys have is great. At this point I'm going to be extremely disappointed if this story is anything less than Lana being the illegitimate lovechild of Randy Savage and Stephanie McMahon, and that this is the information kept secret in the lockbox that Shane and Vince hinted at when Shane first returned, which ALSO contains John Cena's steroid prescriptions, the evidence of Jimmy Snuka's guilt, and damning video footage of Daniel Bryan eating red meat.

Unless we find out some high profile personality is a murderer/pedophile/embezzling/blackmailing executives there's really no reason to be this discrete.

Obviously I don't want that to be true but holy hell why would you tap dance around this so much?

One of the reddit speculations is something about the WWE doctor and rushing people back to work.

That one is one of the most plausible I've seen and also reason to keep it quite as it involves 'reputations'.

Well, considering Dr. Amann is still in a legal battle against Punk and Cabana, that would make sense.

While this is negative, this isn't exactly a secret.

The Dr thing is plausible, but not exactly a secret. Unless there's some damning emails from high up in management threatening doctors to get them to rush people back? I don't know, seems flimsy.

Negative wrestling story is going to break soon?

Well. Raw IS mere hours away.

CM Punk basically already spilled the beans with this one.
