I certainly remember fans embarrassing themselves by pointing out McDavid and Drai could only score on the PP and were PP merchants. Perhaps thats why MacK is getting the gears from others fans.

Well Mackinnon is leading the league in even strength points over past 4 years and in fewer games played than McDavid. So it’s pretty valid to point out that McDavid is heavily reliant on power play for his dominance.

Born winner VS life loser. Guy literally can't win anything without being on a stacked team Canada. Never won in Juniors and no cup. MacKinnon has a Memorial cup and a Stanley Cup to his name. Some guys just rise up to the moment and some guys go pointless in a game 7 to win a cup.

Since apparently nothing other than 5 on 5 matters here:
So no argument MacKinnon has been the best player in the world the last 4 years?

I don't know why anyone would do veiled bashes of the guy. I find plenty of joy in doing it openly. :sarcasm:

Congrats to him on the speed with which he's reached triple digits this year, and to Avs fans for getting to enjoy it.

It's been a day and a half and I still can't get over how good looking this Brewer fellow is.

I can't imagine seeing him skating up and down the ice all sweaty and glistening. Hair blowing in the wind.

For a guy with an apparently not so great hockey IQ it’s amazing he has more ES points than McDavid over the past several seasons now. That doesn’t really check out as he’s not a faster or more skilled player than McDavid.
