dismissing him is more embarrassing.

Im not even sure MacK has more ES point than McDavid.

I certainly remember fans embarrassing themselves by pointing out McDavid and Drai could only score on the PP and were PP merchants. Perhaps thats why MacK is getting the gears from others fans.
I just pointed out earlier Mac is leading the NHL in 5 on 5 points right now.

Colorado has done a fantastic job building the type of group that Nate needs: big dudes that understand how to run interference or picks, big dudes that can shoot, people who seemingly don’t get butthurt when Nate tries to be a superhero a little too often, defensemen who can get the puck up the ice real real quick, playmaking from the blue line.

Really impressive team building allowing nate to flourish.

Really impressive how many backhanded compliments you fit into this one

None of them were meant or even attempted to be tiny hints at anything negative. If they appear that way it’s my failure.

Instead, I would be able to fire some negativity at teams who aren’t able or smart enough to build around the strengths their elite athletes have.

I’ll give an example:

Previously Robert Thomas has lead the league in primary assist rates. Stl doesn’t have a shooter. This is brain dead team building. Even if you can’t get an elite athlete to be a Thomas linemate, the absence of a pure shooter anywhere on the depth chart, somebody to tap into occasionally even, is just silliness.

I wonder how many groups in the league would have swapped Rantanen for necas.

It appears the avalanche know exactly what they need from the position and were strong and smart enough to make a very high stakes decision that seems to be working great.

Why get a bunch of elite shooters when you can build an elite scoring team with threats on every line.

If a team had 7 or 8 or even 9 forwards score 20 goals in a season I don't see how they could lose in the playoffs.

Maybe if they were a soft bunch who let their goalie get run during a series. Otherwise they would cruise to a cup.

I legit can't tell who that is. I'm guessing not Parayko since he isn't a giant.

Maybe Schenn?

Will the Aves regret letting Rantanen go? Do the Blues have any hard feelings about how Pietrangelo left?

Will Nathan MacGinnon ever top 75 points against an actual goalie?

MacKinnon and McDavid are both lightning fast with the puck but in a different way. McDavid is cerebral and slick while maintaining explosiveness, while MacKinnon is...I guess you could say he's violent and aggressive on the puck in a way. He attacks in a raw, primal, animalistic way. He doesn't have McDavid's IQ so he just goes balls deep all the time. I dig it.
I gave up porn for lent and you just blew my chance at heaven with this hockey erotica…

It’s fun watching fanbases talk of the great offensive season MacKinnon is having.

30/32 fanbases:
“Great player, such a treat to watch!”

Remaining two fanbases:
“I need to put him down or make backhanded compliments about him because he won a trophy that I think my guy should have won”

“I don’t like that he’s being talked about in the same breath as my guy”

Great on Mack for having another stellar year. And the exciting thing is, he has struggled at times this year and still has room for improvement!
