Alot of people had him off after his injury. It seems like he is back stronger with 14pts in 7 games and the game Wild is still on. If he still has 4pts after tonight he would be tied with Giroux at 5. Can he still win the Hart? Be nice that is my first thread.

14p in 7 games. His first game back he got 0 points.
If the Avs can sneak into the Playoffs I would for sure make him a candidate. No chance at the Art Ross though.

Definitely in the conversation, happy for Mack. I’ve always liked him.

i think he missed too much time unfortunately. if he has a really strong end to the year and the Avs make a playoff I'd expect him to be a finalist though

He's on pace for the second most points in the league despite only being set to play 74 games. If Kucherov misses additional time Mckinnnon is probably the favorite for the art Ross.

If we make the playoffs, I don't know how you don't give it to MacKinnon. Even as great of a season Kucherov is having, TB fans have openly said Vasilevskiy has been their MVP.

5 point night tonight so far. There's only one outcome when he's on the ice; MacK domination.

Avs make the playoffs Mack wins for sure. To come off the worst Cap Era season in history and make the playoffs the next year would be incredible, and it would be almost entirely on Mack's back. He's been the definition of player most valuable to his team, without question.

After tonight he'll have 76 points only 6 back from an injured Kucherov and only two from Malkin... So I wouldn't count him out of the art ross race just yet

Hottest player, more points currently, 2 time Art Ross winner, 2 time playoff scoring leader.

And to top it off he most likely wins the tiebreaker.

Hall having points in 24 straight games isn't the hottest?
