Curious what he would cost in a trade, NJ badly needs RHD in the system. If he's just straight up not available, I get that.

If I was running the show he would be one of the last defenseman prospects I would be willing to move.

why would LA want him? Don't they already have 2 decent goalies in Quick and Peterson?
I don't think he's much of an upgrade over either, if at all

The only reason I can think of is if they 1) want to move on from Quick, or 2) are having buyer's remorse on the Peterson contract extension, and 3) are able to get someone else to trade for either of the two.

I don't expect this one to happen.
