Lying about height and does it still matter that much anyway?

It's not the nba where height matters a lot, where pretty much every player will lie about it or stretch the truth. I'm sure a fair amount of people still care in the NHL but it's not as big of a deal.

We all lie about our height unless we're tall. I'm totally 5'10".

It’s a disadvantage to be tall in hockey. It kills your mobility and guys can deke you out on the inside.

I dunno, maybe that's a North American cultural thing? At least I get the idea height seems a bigger thing over there.

Think it's something they see as influencing people's perception of the sport, they want these guys to be thought of in a certain way. Maybe that will change considering how drastically the NHL game itself has changed.
