Vancouver
Fire drill team defending to end the period. Desharnais with a soft, slow backhand rim around to Broberg who has to wait on the puck. Then he dumps it out late to a forward who turns it over. Soft team coverage leads to a late buzzer shot that beats Pickard but not the buzzer. Broberg earlier showing too conservative at giving up the offensive blue line. Too safe.

So are Nurse, Ceci, and Ryan just getting rest? I'm going to assume Kane is actually banged up, since that seems to e the case more often than not.

Easy money to be made. The Arizona owner ran a horrendous team, facility, etc., and still doubled his investment lol
But it will affect the quality of on ice product at some point. There are already teams like Anaheim and San Jose that barely have NHL-level talent. Imagine adding 4 more teams (that's around 100 extra players). What will happen is that better players will naturally gravitate towards better clubs and bottom-feeders will be signing horcoffs (or foegele's and bjugstads) to massive contracts just to fill their rosters.

This is a huge offseason for him. Either he becomes a NHL player or he starts to look like what could amount to be an AHL allstar and not much else.
At this point, our only good prospect in the AHL though.

I'm more worried about lack of fans/revenue rather than a lack of talent. Dropping an NHL team into a big market doesn't guarantee success. Just ask Atlanta.
