LWMD #2 Discussion Part 5

• The cap will be at 71.4M with a floor of 52.8M, the same as the 2015-16 salary cap. We will be using https://www.capfriendly.com/ for all selected salaries.

• 30 team draft. Each team drafts 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies, along with 2 bench slots for whatever group of players that you choose (You cannot have more than 13 forwards, 7 defensemen or 3 goalies).

• Rookies will have their full AVV salary included in their cap hit.
  Time limits in between picks will be 7 hours and will decrease after the 5th round of drafting.
  
  • Rounds 1-5: 7 hours.
  • Rounds 6-22: 5 hours.

• The best way to counter having your pick skipped will be to send in a ranked Draft List. When your time is up, the BPA on your list will be chosen for you instead of having your pick skipped.
  • There is also a dead zone time from 12AM-8AM PST. During that dead zone time, a GM will not have time removed from his window to pick. The clock continues counting after 8AM PST.

• In case a GM misses a pick, the team will be skipped. After 24 hours, if the skipped pick has not been chosen/no draft list for that team was given, the commissioner will pick for that selection in relation to team needs/best player available.

• GM's will be allowed to make a TOTAL of 5 trades for the entirety of the mock draft. Trades will be sent to the commissioner before becoming final to review and can only have a MAXIMUM of 5 moving parts within the trade (with a MAXIMUM of 3 draft picks per trade).

• You also will NOT be able to trade while you are on the clock. All trades must be finished and finalized BEFORE your pick becomes active.
  
  EX:
  2 players and 3 draft picks.
  4 players and 1 pick.
  1 player and 1 draft pick.
  1 player and 4 draft picks. <-------- NOPE

We have a massive trade to announce.

LB trades recently aquired
Shea weber and a 15th round pick.
For Ghost and jiri hudler.

This was in the works for awhile, needed to get shea first.

I had zero LW depth. Ghost plays Rd and LD.

This moves shinkaruk down.
I also badly needed a vet who puts up consistant points.

I still have two 13 round picks and one 14 rounder.

McHortton won the deal just by subtracting Hudler from his team, let that sink in for a moment

Waaaay too many people have me on ignore.



I picked 360 and 361.. then a couple more picks... then 364 wylspin altho on the clock.... its expired... so 365 is eligible to pick. 365 is listed as being owned by LucB... but who knows with his flurry of trades...

so 364 is up, but expired so eligble to to be skipped..
so 365 can go ahead and draft.
