I don't think he's got top 6 upside in the NHL. Maybe 3rd line at best, which is OK. I don't know if the talent level is there for top 6 duties.

Makes no sense. Brynas clearly see him as a high potential talent and he is way too young to be written off as not having top 6 upside.

Been moving up Brynäs' lineup for some time now. Played 2nd line yesterday in his comeback after the WJCs, where he put up 1+1. A nice shot, and a solid fake on the PP which made a Leksand player(that had no stick) drop to prevent a pass, to then feed the dmen on the blueline who blasted one that got deflected in.

Struggled in the first half of his first pro season in NA but really came on in the last half. Ended up with 27pts in 68gp but I think like 20 of those were in the last two months.

Also scored this beauty GWG in the Calder Cup playoffs tonight

He had 4 pts in 32 games to start the year.

Finished the season with 10 pts in 11 games and off to a good start in the playoff.

Stromgren with 16 points in his last 15 games. Wonder where he is in terms of a call up for the Flames.

I'd be in no rush to call him up yet. With Pelletier recently promoted, Stromgren is on the top line with Kerins now. Let him enjoy some sustained success. I would like to see him up for a couple games at some point later in the year, and battle Honzek for a spot out of camp next fall.

I'd also keep him where he's at and let him grow his confidence and consistency. Always liked the tools with this player but wasn't sure he could put them together. Well he's definitely starting to now.

Now up to 20 points across his last 20 games. At 21 with his mix of size, skill, and skating it’s starting to turn more into when he makes the NHL and not if.
