14 goals, 26 points in 19 games now.

He is shooting on a ridiculous %. But some of that is because he gets breakaways, some of that is luck.

He stood out in Ducks camp as well, he is relentless. Should have a bottom 6 future in the NHL

Although he has been on a bender the last few games, his shooting percentage for the year isn’t that nuts. 17% which can be semi sustainable with his play style, in a high scoring league, in weaker division.
Also he is 4th in goals for with 4-5 less games played then those above him, not bad for a 5th rounder in his d+1

also only 2 ppg while he already has 5 shg, could definitely benefit from some more PP production

anyone watch calgary a lot? wondering if this guy is worth a late round grab. 9 shorties in the last 2 years. production overall is not amazing, but seems like a bottom line guy with some wheels.

Did Anaheim not want Tschigerl?

He always looked great to me, like a good chance of becoming an NHL checking winger. Very fast and aggressive.

Any speculation as to why? People seem generally happy with his development. Does Anaheim not think he is an NHL player or are there personal reasons involved?

I wanted him in the Rangers system back in ‘21.

His first development camp with the Ducks was very impressive. He hasn’t really gotten better since then though.

Without a doubt in my mind he is worth a late round selection.

Players like Grubbe and Tschigerl are examples of why we’re seeing more Euros and NCAA bound players be selected late, teams are given more time to develop them since they don’t lose those players rights for 3-4+ years - in the CHL, however you’re given just 2 years to decide if a player is worth a contract or not - it’s not enough time.

It wouldn’t surprise me if both become bottom-6 contributors given some time.

Listening to Guy Flaming's interview with Lethbridge's Miguel Marques and he was talking about playing with Sean Tschigerl since the trade. Is there any chance he receives an ELC or is he headed to USport?
