Kuefler was one of my favourite players for the 2022 NHL draft and I’m glad someone took a chance on him in the later rounds, he was a 2x overager for the draft that finally experienced a breakout season in the WHL. Kuefler is a tough customer that isn’t afraid to muck it up. He‘s the type of guy that will do anything to help your team win, heart and soul type of player. It made a ton of sense to my that the Islanders selected him because their identity line is getting up there in age and may need some fresh blood soon. It’ll be great to see what this kid does in the pros.
