LW Cole Eiserman - Boston Univ., NCAA (2024, 20th, NYI)

That was Eiserman's 15th, tied for the team lead and most of any NCAA rookie. The goals will keep coming, but equally important, his defensive and physical play have steadily improved this season. Don't be surprised if he spends a second year at Prof. Pandolfo's finishing school.

I think him going for at least another year would be beneficial to him. As an isles fan I hope he does stay another year at least.

Best thing he can probably do is stay in college for one more year, but NYI will be tempted to get him to turn pro this spring. They need all the help they can get.
We need all the help we can get but not at the expense of their #1 prospects development. They have to think bigger picture and do what’s best for Eiserman.

He is silencing his critics and making believers out of doubters......
can't one be both?

He definitely needs work, and has warts in his game. I understand why he wasn't a top 10 pick. But the dude shoots 25%, and you can just see why. It's not just the one-timers, and it's not luck.

Some months ago, many were writing him off completely. I'm not saying he should have gone top five in last year's draft, but I think few would argue that he is a legit prospect who has the potential to score gobs of goals in the NHL.
