I was at the game and he really controlled the play. Good IQ and 2-way game and plays fast and strong. Owen sound had a great game.

He's definitely a winger, Petrovsky was the centre on that line last night but guindon has also played up the middle, but never Barlow.

He was a centre in his youth, so I wouldn’t put it out of question if he wanted to switch back over upon the request of an NHL team.

He certainly has the frame you’d want from a centre man

Interesting prospect. Great goal scorer and it's pretty cool he's the captain of his junior team before being drafted to the NHL.

It‘s an incredibly rate feat for a kid that isn’t a late birthday or Exceptional status plaher - I wish there was some way to find out this Information without having to comb through individual years.

Kid reminds me a lot of a better skating Christian Fischer, who took apart the OHL in his D+1 season.

That's not meant to be a knock BTW. If Fischer could skate he'd be a dominant power forward.

There's also something to be said about being chosen as team captain as a 17 year old in your second full season of OHL hockey. I love his ability to score goals and think he should be mentioned in the same likes of Yager, Benson, Dvorsky forwards in this years draft (top 10-15ish range).
