Hopefully he will join the Marlies once Vaxjo's season is over (assuming of course that the Marlies actually make the playoffs).

Probably because he is a 2018 late round pick. Definitely a late bloomer, can see him going to the AHL next year

With the last ~year he's had, there's a legit conversation about going straight to the NHL if the Leafs have a spot. If he was a UDFA we're talking about 32 teams checking in on him and maybe some guaranteeing a spot in the NHL next year to seal the deal. Not to mentuon he already signed his ELC, so we know the Leafs have seen the progress.

Last time I tracked his stats (end of Nov):

Currently at 24 points (8 goals) in 27 games. Most of it is against 1st line comp after winning SHL playoff MVP last season. I've watched plenty of his games this year too, and he looks dominant at times in the 3rd best league in the world.

People said the same about Berggren. Lets wait and see. AHL seems like a good step forward

Those who watch him, is he going to continue to be a C in the NHL, or likely a winger?

Most likely a winger. He'll be similar to Engvall in that you can make him a C in a pinch, but he's more effective on the wing.

Left handed, plays more RW? Is this correct? Can he play both wings?

It seems he's mostly playing as a C this year, based on his number of faceoffs.. but I haven't actually seen him play.

He played mostly LW last year. I have no idea whether he can play the right, tbh.
