Yeah, definitely a blown opportunity for him but that stat line is pretty terrible. He scored all his season's goals in one minute.
 
I think this is better long term, Kunlun sucks, he was learning some terrible habits and was having the skill beat out of him because they liked his defensive prowess. But I think the biggest issue why he was sucking is, who speaks Russian on that team? Don't know any of the assistants off the top of my head, but Greg Ireland sure as shit isn't speaking Russian. I think Alex speaks some English but not much. Imagine getting pro time and then not knowing how to communicate that well.

He's still so young and that's a big shock, some guys can't handle it straight away.
 
Extended with Lokomotiv until the end of 2024/25 and loaned to Sochi for the remainder of this season.

That's quite an overreaction after an extension for just one more year. :)

Seriously though, rumor was that he would move to NA if he wouldn't be given a chance for this loan.
