Should be top 2 round player for the 2023 OHL draft - The Jr. Knights have quite the roster for this year, Young is playing on the top line next to projected 1st overall pick Ryan Roobroeck and projected top-10 pick Ethan Weir. Young is a great player in his own right, combines a good skating ability with good vision - he should be a interesting player to follow going forward.

Young is a guy that is going to be a good OHL player but I just don’t see a projectable NHLer here. Getting traded from the Spirt to the Petes definitely hurt him - that being said, I don’t think he is good enough at anything to make me believe he can make the transition to the NHL. He’s a smart kid, who does a good job at putting himself in good positions to score but his pace of play, and size is going to limit him from ever doing anything at the next level. Don’t be surprised to see this kid go undrafted.
