Yes, that's why Iginla was the first person to call Dion personally and congratulate him on becoming captain of the Leafs and it's also why they spend a lot of time hanging out and exchanging playful jabs at one another at the All Star game. Yeah, I'm sure Iginla sure hates his guts. Since you apparently haven't been updated, there was no bad blood with Iginla. Former teammates have come out and said that there wasn't bad blood between the two and the issue with Dion in Calgary was that he was a vocal guy and as a rookie, that didn't sit well with some of the other guys. Judging by how Leafs players describe Dion, I would think it's a fair guess that being outspoken wasn't meant to be disrespect to his Calgary teammates, it was just Dion staying true to his personality - which just so happens to clash with the traditional mindset of how a rookie should act.
There's nothing wrong with thinking that another personality may be a better fit as captain but if you want your opinion to have any merit in the discussion then you should at least explain yourself reasonably rather than pretend to know what kind of captain Dion is as well as use exaggerated rumours and crapping on the way the guy speaks during an interview as though those things hold a lot of weight in your favour. rather than based on rumours and your own assumptions.
Edit: And for the record, I do think Lupul would make a great captain for the team based on what I've seen of him so far.
