Not going to ramble for long. I am pissed off at this team. You guys had all the chances in the world to put this game away in the first period, then hand in an awful second one, and before you know it, Lundqvist has collected all your souls and steals the points. What a f***ing irritating way to lose.
PSW: Perreault was outstanding. Scheifele and Wheeler had decent bounce-back games after the Blues catastrophe.
ELL: A great, great game from Laine, up until that brainfart of a turnover that led to the 3-1 goal. Ehlers had waaay too many turnovers and mind-numbingly illogical plays, and Little was OK.
CCA: Connor was dangerous. Copp and Armia were decent; this time it was Armia f***ing up some great chances, though.
PHR: Not much to say, to be honest. Nobody was a liability, which is a positive.
44-57: Myers bounced back greatly from the pathetic effort on Friday. Morrissey was OK.
39-33: A great game from this pairing. I liked Enstrom in the defensive end, and Buff had yet another great game all around the ice. He has been impactful in the absence of Trouba.
7-5: Chiarot was more meh than he has been recently. Kulikov didn't stick out from the crowd at all, which is not all that bad for a third pairing defenseman.
37: Not as good as Lundqvist.
Lundqvist: Better than Hellebuyck.
