The kids on defense show promise but are still super raw and unproven. The defense we’re icing is INSANELY bad on paper. Will perform better on the ice but... ouch.

Unfortunately this is how I approach games now too. I want to see them play well. When they win I’m not upset or anything. I get pumped when we score. I jump out of my seat when Hank stops the tank single handedly. But when we win it kinda feels bitter sweet. Like something you enjoyed but it wasn’t good for you. Like coming home from the gym and eating cake.
