Right, but the dude is constantly in demand at trade deadlines and now there is talk of him getting a multi-year deal. Hes a 6th D who is getting old, thats silly.

Getting old yet had a fantastic season that saw him jump up to the top pairing for the Leafs and be one of the Canucks few good defensemen not named Hughes.

The guy is still very much a solid NHLer who is extremely reliable. For the price he'll be asking for, why wouldn't you want him?
