Doesn't Burke love this kid?

He was to be the face of the leafs at one time. I still feel he can play in the NHL and he will. If he ever could improve his foot speed it would only help him. However by now I doubt he can. I always have a soft spot for guys like him and Brad Marsh. However the speed of the game is a lot quicker now. Plus the rule changes have made it not only faster but more dangerous.

Five years ago the Leafs almost made the playoffs with a top four of Dion Phaneuf, Keith Aulie, Carl Gunnarsson and Luke Schenn. That's how good rookie Reimer was.

To be fair the only one(s) out of place back then were Aulie and possibly Phaneuf.

Luke is still a very good option for a 3rd pairing role, he's being dragged through the mud for past expectations, but he will find a spot on an NHL team sooner or later.

Those made me cringe...I mean more often then not he actually had a decent break out pass on the Leafs.

Schenn gave me more "wtf bro?" moments on the Kings Blueline than I've seen since Jack "Minus Forever" Johnson played for us.

Not surprised whatsoever he hasn't been able to find a job.
