Still a decent prospect but ya, he will most probably end up being moved
Why probably? He would seem to be a good prospect after the Bahl and Okhotiyuk prospects move on. Luke will play top pair and then Surgs on the second but Mukh would look to make a nice LD3. He has mobility reach and a good shot. I’d think he has more of a chance than Vilen for example.

Luke looks another level from anyone on the ice.
It’s those high heel skates.

I’ve never really been a fan and it seems like a lot of his value comes from the PP. He’d be way down the pecking order here. Hopefully SJ likes him.

If Vilen continues his rise, he may end up making the ideal partner for Nemec down the line. Would give each pair a steadying presence. Muhk, Bahl or Ok could still end up being fine 3rd pair defenders too.

It is going to be bonkers watching Jack and Luke play together .
They are going to feed off of eachother and only increase their level of play (which will be scary for opposing teams ).
Quinn is going to feel left out after all the attention these two will get as they destroy the league together.
Honestly though . Imagine Quinn sitting in the Canucks locker room watching highlights and they are showing highlights that feels like all the time of Luke and Jack lighting it up. He has to honestly have a part of him that wishes he was playing with them too. No matter how much lip service he pays about how he likes it in VanC . What’s he going to say? “ I hate it here . This team sucks and is going no where and I want to play with my brothers “.

A worse team this year too. So more of an improvement than it looks.

PP1 time now tbf. On the other hand though he has as many assists as he had all of last year in 15 fewer games and isn’t riding a juiced SH% this year. 8.8% this year compared to 18.5% this year. Shots per game up from 2.37 to 3.5.

He has more significant defensive responsibilities this season with Power gone.
