I would had much prefered Nicolas Roy from Saguenay. A RH shot, big centerman who is progressing well in the Carolina org.

But IF Poehling, Evans and Vejdemo can pan out.... Habs will finally have some strength down the middle. That's all we could hope.

I'll be ecstatic if one of them pans out to be a top six center. I'll still be happy if one ends up being a solid 3rd line center. We'll see.

It's "Djurgarden", the "s" is possessive and is only used with "IF". Djurgardens IF (Idrottsförening) means Djurgarden's SC (Sports Club).

Djurgården is a district of Stockholm. The name is a combination of "djur" ("animal", but "game" in this context) and "gård" ("park"). The "en" is a definite determiner, which in Swedish is placed at the end of words. Literally "Djurgården" means "The Game Park".

Thanks, I'll try to remember that. Funny thing is, my dad is Swedish-american ( his grandparent came over from Malmo in the early 1900's) so you'd think some of the culture would have rubbed off on me !

Evans has cooled off a bit and ND's scoring has slowed down some but the team hasn't cooled off at all. They have won 13 in a row and 14 of their last 15 games. If you go by the pairwise rankings, they are ranked 2nd overall in the NCAA by Poehling's team.
