The fact they’re getting wins without Fox and Chytil is huge. That fourth line has really come along too. I thought Shesterkin played really well after a bad first period too.

The Devils are really talented, but they’re baaaaby soft.
anyone think say that maybe Pitlick is the reason that the 4th line has actually gone from horrid to not bad?

Did everyone enjoy that? Good, I have something to say.

I think we've all watched enough hockey and paid enough emotional tax to this team to be qualified to say somebody sucks. I don't care about that.

I don't even care if you think a guy is soft and I don't even care if you like a guy's hair.

That being said, the personal attacks on a guy who plays for this team are seriously disturbing.

"Zibanejad is soy. Zibanejad is a virgin. He's not a man. No testosterone."

You want personal attacks? Here's one:

Who the f*** are you? You're a high school third liner sitting on a message board. If you're not on Viagra, you will be within ten years and you get winded going to the mailbox.

"HE NEEDZ TO EAT SUM MEAT"

Most of you can't eat meat without burping, almost throwing up, and going "whoa boy..."

If you're reading this, you're probably overweight, bad at sports, have heartburn, and watching the Rangers is your exercise. That's true for me too but I'm willing to admit it.

Jesus Christ. The guy gets made fun of for being a father. Being a father is more important than this silly game.

Hell, saying something a little off-color about an opponent during a game, I can understand. He plays for the Rangers. Maybe leave it to on-ice criticisms.

This isn't a mod warning because making fun of a guy for having hobbies and a f***ing CHILD at home isn't against the rules. It's just what I think of some of you and I want you to know.
Damn....

I'm still going to say he should shave his head because it helped Panarin so why the f*** not.

Ive said it since a while, put kreider and troch together and Panarin zib and Laf.
It took Laf and Tro time to know how to play with each other and with Panarin. Don't take that way. Kreider and Zib don't do the things Tro and Laf are doing to be successful

Agreed all around, but especially this part. Trouba Train paints in a studio in Williamsburg (I don't know if that's actually where it is). You gonna call him a p***y?

Trouba is a completely different player this season
I dunno, i think the hate was mostly unjustified and mostly due to his contract money. I understand the effect of having someone that will take your head off at the blueline, we had to deal with Stevens for years it creaps into your game, it's hard to put a dollar amount on that and for me he's a modern day Stevens.

I saw that interview! Some of his thoughts on the art were pretty insightful.

Honestly why ruin our best line and infect it with our worst forward right now?
Laf and panarin will connect anyway, maybe Troch and Kreider start something, they looked good last year and added bonus, Zibs might get going

If we had Jones over Mikkola we beat NJD last year.
I think if we had Laviolette over Gallant we would have won...easily

Bratt totally bailed when he skated up the right side and there was a Ranger at the blue line waiting for him.

It was Zac Jones.

Hits do matter. They get inside the heads of soft players.
In the same way, scoring and confidence opens up the ice.

The Devils back off Bread just like the Rangers back off Hughes.

The next step for a guy like Laf is gaining that respect so he earns more ice to operate. They are still closing in on him

This team usually folds in a game like this. Especially after they let in the third.

Depsite some big guys being ice cold 5on5 they are finding ways to stick with it and get a big goal or two in the third. Gutty

Most enjoyable win of the season thus far given the opponent and recent history
Not this year. They have come back plenty of times when down in the 3rd.

VINNIE TROCHECK!!! On the winning goal 99 percent of the time most guys dump that in and lose possession or turn it over at the blue line. Guy has been making plays all over the ice. I wonder when he scores 70 points this year if his contract will look good?
Devils play a swarm defense on those types of puck carrier situations. That time it backfired. Usually it swallows up the puck carrier. Instead Trocheck drew 4 Devils to him.
