That being said, no argument from me for Boston voters.

At his best, Milan Lucic was a quintessential power forward. And Pastrnak is Pastrnak.

As good as Hughes is, why would I want a guy who had one good season in his career, couldn't skate and effectively stopped being an NHL calibre player soon after turning 25? To have to buy him out or lose an asset/assets to move the contract?

Sure, Lucic's best years were behind him by age 25, but at least he had more than one good season and continued to be an NHL calibre forward for a number of years after turning 25.

I feel dirty but my vote is for the Boston pair.

I hate Lucic and wouldn't want him on my team. Also, I think pretty highly of Hughes and could see him surpass Pastrnak (though it's not a given), so I picked Hughes's duo.

I watch plenty. It’s like nobody here recognizes 25 year old pasta was a top 3-4 player in the NHL and 25 year old lucic was an absolute battering ram. He was twice as strong and mean as Burrows. Seems more like few people here watched those 2010s era bruins
