Look at the comments from Bruins fans on Jones, not really interesting

In the same way Pezzetta can do what Wilson can do, I guess. Max Jones is a much more imposing and damaging player than Condotta.
I remember him in Anaheim and he didn't stick out to where I would want to take him while we have guys like Condotta and Tuch who can do a similar job.

We're not asking him to be the next Claude Lemieux, but he'd be an upgrade over guys like RHP/Pezz/Condotta.

I guess he is supposed to bring more grit and size...about all he brings.

he brings more then that, he's really the kind of player you want called up in these situations imo. There's no concern with his development, he is what he is. So if he sits in the press box getting paid more then good for him, unlike past GM's that would call up Roy the second he started to string some good games together, he would be on the 4th line, the first sign of struggle he would get benched and then end up in the press box only to be back in the AHL in a week or so and then suddenly they can't seem to do well in the AHL, rinse repeat.

Can he play regular shift in NHL?

Solid AHL vet and Captain should be kept in the organization
I like to create big physical line next season. Tough players who can take a regular shift. Throw out there 10-12 minutes a game to give team energy. Also many young players arriving next season give them a little protection
