Yeah I got 8 points in that one shot :laugh:

Then they gave me a driver assessment which I thought meant I’d have to take some safety course. Instead a driver assessment is where they assess whether or not you have $1000 to give them on top of the $400 ticket.

I had the option to pay the assessment in one shot or the option over 3 years with no interest. I said they could suck my nuts and I’ll pay over time since money loses value. Douchebags.

I had an interesting day today. I tried to pass a car going 30 on a country road so he drove in both lanes and then went 60 for the next 10 miles.

In a scene right out of the movie "Office Space", I was on a state highway and was passed by a mentally ill man who was walking!

There are some good people in this world. I was at a strip mall and extremely dehydrated for medical reasons. I didn't know if I could drive to a gas station w/o passing out and I didn't want to because sometimes you can't get out of gas stations during rush hour traffic. I went into a restaurant to buy a water. I expected to pay $2-3 for a cup the way they charge at gas stations. I didn't tell the clerk that I was sick or that I just wanted water. She gave it to me for free anyways. I really appreciated it. :thumbu:

China and USA both reduce tariffs for 90 day pause. Market futures are way up. Feels like a month long yo-yo going on with economies but very little difference accomplished at the end.

Counting stats are the devil's tools. The media and young people's sports analysis today is horrible. Over half of HF posters have consistently and repeatedly voted in polls that OV and McDavid have top 10 careers all-time right now. The biggest problem is that they think scoring the most points (or goals) automatically make you the goat. That totally ignores defense, physicality, passing, different scoring eras, and number of games and seasons played. Gordie was top 10 in scoring 21 seasons in a row! Dman Potvin has more assists than OV.

In basketball Kareem played 4 years of college and won 3 rings in his 3 seasons of eligibility. Freshman were ineligible plus they made a college no dunking rule for Kareem, so he created the greatest move in NBA history, the skyhook. Jordan played 3 years in college and only played 1,072 NBA games. LeBron went straight to the NBA at age 18 and has played 1,562 NBA games. He should have more points than Kareem and Jordan.

You can't see sigs on a cell phone but if you're not (you're on a pc), check my sig.

MLB's Brian Kenny thinks bunting with a man on third and less than 2 outs is bad because today's hitters are bad bunters. You can't guarantee your next AB is a homer. Bunting with a man on third and less than 2 out is a guaranteed run with a competent hitter. God Forbid Kenny brings in common sense, non-stat knowledge, or any other factor than today's stats. Past players were good bunters and God Forbid today's hitters work on their fundamentals to become competent hitters. :laugh:

Baseball is not my game so I know very little about the best strategies. I played it when I was a kid (great fielder lol) but back then not that much strategy was involved.

I have a trip coming up. I'd really like to lose 6 pounds by then but I only lose 2 pounds a month on average. I will probably miss my goal by 2-4 pounds. I have worked pretty hard. Still going to try to push through. Bought some new clothes since old ones were too big.

I lost 35 pounds. Sometimes I fast too much and my cell phone feels heavy. 😂 If you've never fasted too much, this next sentence may sound fictitious. Your stomach can get so empty that no matter how much you eat, you struggle just to get your stomach to a normal half full state.

Ive tried to do things in a healthy way for around 2 years. No fasting for me. Im already at a lower weight than I have been since high school. Just trying to get rid of that last inch of fat on tummy. 😂😭😠

Bikini season is coming up. ;) I now picture you as fitter and thinner than my HS & college best friend when he won back to back NCAA wrestling titles.

I already started my pool season last week albeit with the help of my pool heater for a few hours. Is nice to use the pool and not feel heavy while doing so. :)
 
I went on vacation for a few days in Big Bear, California (beautiful place) and got bit by a dog. I think it’s because all the shit I talk about Californians and how they need to go home. The lady whose dog bit me said her dog doesn’t like cyclists. We were literally on a trail called Alpine Bike Trail. People are dumb…especially Californians.

Living out west was certainly an experience. Common sense is in very short supply. Your experience of people not reacting the way you assume human beings should is something I dealt with all the time out there.
