The Jets stadium always seems crazy to me.
As a Canes fan, I think PNC is extremely loud, especially in the playoffs.
Having visited a number of other NHL arenas, I think shape has a lot to do with the perceived differences. For example, having visited Tampa and Vegas, both teams have fans that are just as into the game as our local Canes fans, but the lower level especially is a much shallower angle and seems more stretched out. This leads to more airspace and maybe makes it sound less intense? PNC is much steeper in the lower level, which helps funnel the noise into a much more compact airspace.
Vegas is just a whole different animal in terms of the event production.
