Lost human cilvilizations?

Big bible fan…
It just seems like archaeology was trying to fit the history of human civilization into a small window that correlates to that time line. The discovery of older skeletons and megaliths like Gobekli Tepe has changed that timeline except for Egypt it seems. The erosion of the Sphinx is a perfect example of that. It's far more eroded than anything else yet it's supposed to have been built at the same time

The fact it's likely WAY older and originally had an actual lions head seems to have gained more traction though tbf

It's why the Anubis Sphinx theory makes a ton of sense to me. Explains the erosion (it's older than reported) and the funny proportions.

Even as a kid you could see the proportions were off. I like the theory that it was carved into a lion. With all of the symbolism in ancient culture an how astrology played a big part in their connection with their knowledge the idea it was made during the time of leo makes so much sense. The Age of Leo is an astrological period that is said to have occurred between 10,750 BCE and 8,600 BCE. This would also be the time when the Sahara was a jungle and a time where rain could have been the reason for the erosion on the enclosure of the Sphinx. It probably predates that age as a monument for the incoming time. Maybe the Sphinx was recarved many times because the head is a lot smaller than the body especially it it was carved out of a dog or lions head.
