I’d take a mid round pick for Orlov at this point and wait for Nikishin to come over at the end of the year to replace him.

Gotcha. But then someone like Ceci gets traded today for a conditional 3rd/4th rounder essentially.

I don’t think Orlov is that much worse than ceci so I’m sure some team will value Orlov’s physicality. We can retain on Orlov in a trade if needed.

We need someone that can skate and not shoot the puck into someone’s knees 50% of the time when they take a shot
