unless Kopitar wakes up and Drew pullsnhisnhead out of his butt this game, this season is not going to be like our last three.

I hope Bernier is playing so we could ask him some more about Mandela.

Ya that's not good but he is French and English is his second language that's what I am going with because I REFUSE to believe ANYONE s that stupid and if they are then they cannot be allowed it have kids as. human beings we CANNOT allow that

Ohhh man that's funny haha.

As a Leaf fan, even though we are on this hot streak, I fully expect the worst still. I mean, you guys are capable of waking up any moment, and Kopitar is struggling, so given our slump busting nature, it seems inevitable he'll go off for a 4 point night against us.

I'm pretty sure Reimer is starting, BTW. Funny thing is, Bernier doesn't have good numbers against LA at all, albeit a small sample size. Last year, first game between us in Toronto, we outplayed you guys and Bernier let in a couple of softies and broke us (along with Jones stealing that game). In LA, you guys badly outplayed us, and Bernier gave up 2 quick ones before getting hurt, and then Reimer just stole the show from there.

Either way, here's to a good game and please, no injuries or mumps. Especially mumps.

Thus stupid Rogers deal means Sunday afternoon games. 5 pm on a Sunday sucks. Reimer is starting according to what I heard on local radio.

As a Leaf fan, I don't mind the 5:00 start. Allows me to also not miss too much of the Raptors game, since that starts at 7:30.

Must be time to get a few points on the board. Carters gonna steal the show. 4-1 Kings, with a late goal to spoil the shutout.

I hope I won't have to do this tonight.

The Habs aren't known as a team that can score.
Today you face the #1 team in the NHL for GF/G%

I really don't think you know us.
I do think we'll be outshot, due to our back-to-back

I know lots about "you"

1st line JVR-Bozak-Kessel... tons of O, absolutely nothing on D.. go in spurts... dynamic for 4 games, disappear for 5. Kessel plays perimeter, does not like physical play.

Your teams best motivator Komarov is out with an injury... so he'll be a non factor.

Lupul is a glass jar. When he's in the lineup he produces, but his games have been limited. Could be trade bait approaching the deadline. Leafs need him to stay healthy. Get bodies on him, with injury history cant play as rough of game as he once could.

Clarkson.. we know how to shut him down, not that he's a huge threat. Wasnt a problem for us in the 2012 Cup Finals and his play has regressed.

Holland/Kadri... two high draft picks with skill but still trying to put it together. The two have been rotated between 2/3 center position. Neither have done anything to set themselves apart. Both been producing better as of late. Not setting the world on fire.

Santorelli/Winnik are driving force behind the team right now. As crazy as it sounds, shut their energy down and you'll stagnate the offence.

Reimer is starting in net. Get the puck in deep on him.. he's hot and cold. One game he stops 50 shots, the next he lets 4 of 11 in. He thinks he's a number 1, has something to prove, especially if he wants a shot elsewhere.

Your defence is lacklustre...

Phaneuf/Franson... Cody is great on the PP, thats it. Dion takes unnecessary risks and it often costs them. This pair is slow and very prone to mistakes.

Reilly/Robidas... the best pairing on the team. Reilly is going to be good one day, Robidas on the backend of his career. Line has speed and skill, are steady. Like any young D, Reilly still going through growing pains.

Gardiner/Holzer... an awful pairing. Gardiner's confidence is so shot from Carlyle he doesnt know what way to go. Often caught pinching, takes bad routes to pucks and terrible decisions on positioning. Can be the best D on the ice, more often the worst. Holzer is an AHL defenceman, playing better this callup then last years. Still abysmal.

Fair assessment or we dont know you at all still?

Wrong all over the place. Nice regurgitation of common misconceptions of the Leafs.
Good luck today, should be a fun game!

Close, they disappear but never from the scoresheet. They may look lazy, non factors at times but by the end of the game you can add 1 to the point column for each of them.

Your teams best motivator Komarov is out with an injury... so he'll be a non factor.

Holland/Kadri... two high draft picks with skill but still trying to put it together. The two have been rotated between 2/3 center position. Neither have done anything to set themselves apart. Both been producing better as of late. Not setting the world on fire. Kadri has 17 points in his last 20 games. His offence has taken off since being taken off Clarkson's line. He drives possession and his line with Lupul/Winnik and Santorelli is Toronto's most effective at both ends of the rink. Relentless forecheck, strong possession numbers, very few risks.

Phaneuf/Franson... Cody is great on the PP, thats it. Dion takes unnecessary risks and it often costs them. This pair is slow and very prone to mistakes. Dion has been playing it safe. He is a poor skater going backwards, but can keep up with many on the straight away. He doesn't cheat as often as before and his defensive game has be strong. Franson is what he is, but his physicality has really taken strides and with phaneuf he has been much better defensively.

Reilly/Robidas... the best pairing on the team. Reilly is going to be good one day, Robidas on the backend of his career. Line has speed and skill, are steady. Like any young D, Reilly still going through growing pains. Not even close to the best pairing on the team. Rielly has been outstanding, but Robidas has been awful.

Holzers proving to be a good NHL bottom pairing D. Physical, safe. He has not been in anyway abysmal.

Fair assessment or we dont know you at all still?

Close assessment but quite off on a few things.

Here's a wild prediction, the Kings are gonna start slow. I know, I know, I'm really going out on a limb with that one.
