I blame myself, started thinking that the Sharks looked about as lively as the Kings did against the Ducks last year before they got a couple of good shifts and the goal.

Good solid period, needed to get that second goal especially after that one dominating shift. Too bad Lewis missed high and wide when we got our chance.

Kings never make it easy for themselves, why would this game be any different? Why bother scoring on the 5 solid chances they had in the 1st when the Sharks were sleeping? Instead let's give up a faceoff goal with less than a minute left.

Choke fans with that dumb chant again. Hasn't worked for them yet. It's just embarrassing at this point.

It's not easy breaking the puck out tonight. That's obvious. Put another way, dump it in and forecheck the **** out of them. It's like their is an extra second to get on the d.

Guys, Muzzin's stick had nothing to do with that goal. That was Quick at his worst right there.

4th line playing the best, Kopi's line is invisible, Cliffy with a goal.

Not bad. Expected much worse.

Most goalies will struggle when their team dominates 3/4 of the period in the opponent's zone. Quick needs lots of shots to start a rhythm.

Well, I wouldn't say nothing. Had his stick not snapped on the linesman he might have been able to get over to Burns, but yeah Quick should have had that.

That was terrible angle shot and way out, no way Quick should miss that.

The Beat LA chant doesn't even bother me anymore, because there's nothing of substance behind it in hockey. Chant it at the Dodgers all you want, that's fitting, but the Kings? Sharks have done everything but "beat LA." Just an empty chant to me.

So, from CBC, I learned that both goals were shot from close to the boards, where there are shadows made by the lighting.

Need to start winning the face offs in the O zone. You can't let a team ice the puck all night and not make them pay.
