I really think Sutter should consider starting Jones for this game, Quick can't play every game. I guess maybe you could pencil in Jones for the 2 remaining games versus the Oilers? But that would still leave Quick with over 70 games played this season.
 
I think the Kings need to get through the second period of games, especially on the road. Last line change, and long line change seems to really cause Kings problems when or if the other team comes in deep on the forecheck. The inability to break out leads to five tired guys and the other team seems to be able to change up, get fresh guys, or benefit from an icing. Even NJ last night made a push at them in the second.
 
I think the Rangers win the Cup this season. And for th3 first time in a long time serious doubt has crept in about the Kings and I don't think they make it into the playoffs but we'll see. One game at a time and a win tonight would be huge for confidence, for the standings especially considering the fact that its a b2b and New York should come out with a huge chip on their shoulder.

I don't think you're the only one that feels that way.

It's just been a really strange season with the suspension, injuries, and many players underperforming. For once, I don't feel like "it's a must" to make the playoffs.

The Blackhawks will manhandle the Rangers if the two teams meet in the finals. My money is on the hawks winning it all. Without Kane they are still hot, and once Kane comes back in the second round, they will be unstoppable.

I like the Hawks this year as well.
Only thing I can see is if they get too banged up after having to get through the blues and preds. The hawks will have a tough road to the finals.

Man a healthy Klein and MSL makes a solid lineup that much more lethal
