Yup, if they ain't chasing in the standings they ain't trying. Not saying the game is lost but we've seen this pattern so many times this season. An opportunity to put some distance between them and teams chasing, disinterested start followed by a ho-hum second period and a flurry late in the third.

Wild had the legs in that period. Passing is off, too much reaching for the puck. Tough to win when Kopitar looks like that defensively.

I would be more worried if we didn't sweep the New York gauntlet. I was just hoping for 7 out of the 10 possible points on this road trip. We can easily get a point out of this game and win next game. Keep your heads up!

Look at Kopitar coasting on the 1st goal, he checked Neiderider like it was an all-star game, then watched him score . That was embarrassing for a guy known for his defense.

They're playing this game like it was the last game of the roadtrip, content with the points they've gotten
