McBain should be playing more, he has been vastly better than both McNabb and Greene and they need another offensive guy.

I don't really know if there is much to say.

The Kings just don't have the guns this year, this roster has more question marks than the Riddler's suit.

I stopped caring a while ago. Really, I've lost my "fan passion" since they won the Cup the first time. But this season they have never looked like "the Kings" from the past three years. I'm done searching for answers. They just plain suck this season and I don't think it is any one thing. I think they need to be sellers at the deadline. Trade any UFA they don't feel they have a shot a bringing back and do a rebuild on the fly like plenty of other teams have done.

I shall name my firstborn McBain.

See McBain going to the net....That's where goals are scored boy's.

It's amazing what happens, when you put someone in the lineup that cares about his playing time.

14 shots for is good!

Bad defense is bad.

And it's actually more on the forwards coverage than defense, as usual.

McBain with Regehr is a good Voynov-lite and really adds that offensive element throughout the lineup since Martinez helps the third pairing immensely. Bummer that it shuts out Mcnabb but something's gotta give ya know?

McBain only got around 40 seconds of PP time, but he drove to the net twice with his stick on the ice. Looked like he had an open net both times, but the other yahoos decided to pass the puck out of the offensive zone. We need the other guys to catch his hunger. He's playing with his career on the line and he's making the most of what little time he's given.

As much as i'd like to agree, it was McBain bad decision to pinch that lead to the first 2 on 1. Basic fundamentals say you never do that, especially at the pro level.

I don't even blame Defense for coughing that puck up, and not being able to get back into the play.

The Centers, ALL OF THEM, (by now) know better. There wasn't even ANY forward close to helping out that two on one, that scored.

Awful.

It's mind boggling, it's game 51 after two successful cup runs; and the forwards are making mistakes they made when Terry Murray was first hired.

Seriously WTH is going on.

It's like in the off-season they forgot how to play Kings 200ft hockey.

Of course. But if the alternative is running a Greene/McNabb third pairing...I'd rather take the inevitable brain farts than the low upside. He obviously doesn't replace Voynov but as a smooth skating rightie with good offensive instincts being paired with a monster like Regehr ...I can think of worse things that have happened this year.

McBain at least has the speed to get back into the play, if Greene misses a pinch, and the F3 is not covering him....It's in the back of the Kings net.

Example: Goal one of tonight, for Florida.

Sutter must have had some important things he wanted to bring up with the team during intermission. Not allowing McBain to be interviewed, as was scheduled means the boss has some big issues to bring up.

Probably more to do with the offseason being about 15 minutes long for the 3rd straight year.

"You are all *******."

Teams are expending no energy to break the puck out against the Kings.

It's an easy out of the zone for Florida so far.
