There are conflicting reports on whether Quick or Jones will start.
From lakings.com: "Goalie Richard Bachman is expected to start [for the Oilers]."

The Kings are in the 3rd wildcard spot, tied with third place Calgary at 93 points, and one point behind Winnipeg at 94 points. All three teams have 3 games left in the regular season. With the shootout loss to Vancouver, Sportsclubstats has the Kings dropping to a 61.9% chance of getting into the postseason, while Calgary is at 72.4%, and Winnipeg jumps up to 67.9% with their win against Minnesota.

The Oilers currently have the 3rd worst record in the league with 59 points. They have 3 games left in the regular season.

Because we don't know which team will show up. They had that Oiler game at home which wasn't exactly difficult on the body, Colorado didn't put up much of a fight in the other game at home, they had another few days with no games between those games, and then they came out with a very ho-hum effort last night, in a game that was supposed to be a little more than just another game. But, in a frustrating sort of way for us fans, it being "just another game" is one of this Kings team's greatest strengths.

The Kings play the same way every game. Whether they do what they do a little bit quicker, or a little bit slower, determines what the final result will be most nights. Last night was a slow night.

But, at the end of the day, if you can't beat the Edmonton Oilers in a crucial game like this one, you simply don't deserve to be in a playoff spot. Need STL to beat Winnipeg in regulation, but the Jets never lose so we can't rely on others.
